Danyl storms out of X Factor in a strop (and then, er, walks back in again)

Well, this isn't going to help those rumours that he's a right stroppy so and so - yesterday Danyl Johnson had a massive barney with Simon Cowell over his song choice, and walked out... but then skulked back again, somewhat diminishing the dramaticness of this story.

As you'll know by now, it's George Michael and Wham week (we've been eating Wham bars to celebrate) but Danyl wasn't impressed that Simon had picked yawnsome ballad Praying For Time for him.

He was in the middle of a coaching session from that Yvie woman when he "erupted in fury" (does anyone else find that slightly erotic? No? Just us then) and stomped off. And now he's threatening to quit the show altogether unless Simon agrees to change his song. Nooooo! We've already had one quit sensation from Camilla Giddyup this week, our delicate hearts can't handle another one.

"A few production staff chased after him to try and calm him down and make him come back but he was having none of it," says a top secret spy who probably wears a disguise and everything. "They even sent a car to follow him and try to make him see sense and return to the rehearsal but he refused. He seems very angry and upset and is demanding a different song. It’ll be interesting to see whether Simon Cowell agrees that the choice needs to change, or makes him stick with it."

Danyl's now reportedly had "crisis talks" (that's showbiz code for big screechy strop) with Simon over the song issue. "Danyl is not going to win himself any fans with stunts like this, which just make him look like a spoilt brat," adds our person in the know. "Even if the song choice is wrong, there’s no need to storm out, he should talk about it first.”

Ooh, that felt like a telling off from a teacher. Except, um, Danyl (like Daniel, but with a "WHY?") is supposed to be the teacher around here, so he really should know better.

Still totally would though.
