Looks like Simon's wallet won this one

We were so convinced that Jedward were on their way out that we started writing our tribute to the boys during Lucie’s miscellaneous power ballad. But the twins are here to stay! Well, for a week or so.   

It’s Simon’s show and he’ll do whatever he bloody well wants to. You could practically see the pound signs in his eyes when he threw the vote back to the public.  

We love him for it – the twins saved an otherwise forgettable show this weekend, plus we’re not ready to ditch our Jedward masks (which we totally made first, by the way).

But it must also be said that Lucie was undoubtedly the best singer, even though she was a bit boring and very irritating when she acted like Stacey this week. We're sure she's got a great career ahead of her... in glamour modelling.
