This is the first time we've ever wished we were married to Posh

Posh isn't normally the Beckham we wish we were married to - but this story has warmed our cockles right up, so it has.

It was only a few weeks ago that we were cooing over the amazingness of micro-pigs - and maybe Posh has been checking into 3am.co.uk, as she's now bought David a pair of them as an early Christmas present, costing £1400 each.

"Victoria read about micro pigs and fell in love with the idea of them," says someone with their snout in the right place. "Victoria did her research and ordered a pair of pedigree piggy siblings, making sure the animals came from good homes. She assured the breeder the family would offer the brothers an excellent home; the boys will be kept at the couple's Beckingham Palace mansion. She initially called them David and Elton but, of course, her husband has the final say. David absolutely loves the piglets but is more keen on Pinky and Perky - so a final decision has yet to be made. Perky Elton Beckham has quite a ring to it though."

Er, quite. The miniature piggies grow to just 14 inches tall and are easy to house-train, so they shouldn't be chewing up any of Posh's expensive shoes. We want some (the piggies and the shoes. But mainly the shoes).
