Picture Bitch wanted us to call this story "a post about some ugly bloke called Shaun that apparently most old people know about" and she's kind of got a point.

If you're under the age of, ooh, 26 or something, you might not have much of a clue about Shaun Ryder. But if you were pubescent or beyond in the early 90s, you'll be well aware of his "work" as frontman of the Happy Mondays and then Black Grape, and will hopefully find this picture very amusing indeed. For those still in the dark, he's Bez's mate, and he has a touch of the Mark Croft about him.

Anyway, Shaun got married today, to a lady called Joanne, so that's lovely and everything... but this is their wedding picture and it made us laugh. We think it's the hair. And the glasses. And the fire extinguisher adds a certain je ne said quoi, non?

So. Congratulations to the lovely Shaun and congratulations to the lucky Joanne. We like to think Bez and his maracas are raving on at the reception as we speak.
