Suddenly we have respect for Renee Zellweger - she's a secret bitch!

We've always thought that Renee Zellweger was about as edgy as bit of candyfloss, but we're now a little bit impressed by what seems to be a pointed dig at Jennifer Aniston.

Those of you who, like us, live your love lives vicariously through people much richer and more glamorous than you, will know that Renee's new man, fit actor Bradley Cooper, went on a date with Jennifer Aniston recently, but, for some reason, ultimately picked Bridget Jones over Rachel Green - in fact, they're now even rumoured to be engaged. And since then, Jen has reportedly whinged to friends about how rubbish the whole thing has made her feel ("She’s less interested in Renee than in why she’d choose a guy who would be interested in someone like Renee," says one sly fox). 

So anyway, now you're up to speed and we can get on with the actual story. When quizzed about the kinds of roles she goes for, Renee came out with the following:

"I'm not an actress who made her way based on physicality - I think quite the opposite, in fact. I sort of disappear a little bit, with respect to my looks. I'm lucky. I'm not a standout, kind of knockout kind of girl that, you know, it's all about my great hair or something."

And who is the woman in the world who's most famous for her great hair? No, not the woman with a horse on her head, although she jolly well should be, but Jennifer Aniston. So, that was totally an evil dig. At least we hope it was, or Renee's even duller than we thought. If it was just a coincidence and Renee didn't take lessons in bitching from Mean Girls like the rest of us, then she should still totally take credit for it anyway. And then hopefully Jen, who's well versed in evil digs (because apparently it's not the first time she's been dumped for some rival actress? Can't remember the details though...) will find some cunning way to say something equally nasty in response, and we can string this one out for weeks...
