Simon Cowell says Jedward are "completely deluded". We say: so is Simon Cowell!

We do understand why a serious muso type like Simon Cowell (coughrobsonandjeromecough) finds it hard to deal with a novelty act like Jedward doing so well on The X Factor, but we think he needs to come to terms with the fact that the public bloody love them.
"This X Factor is the hardest one to call," he says, still reeling from Danyl deffo-not-a-bully-deffo-still-would Johnson being in the bottom two last weekend. "The twins are completely deluded and live in fantasy land but they are lovely. They thought Britney would watch their performance and wanted to invite Robbie to their party."
Yeah, and? We can totally see Britney entertaining Sean Preston and JJ with some Jedward YouTube action. What of it?
"I'm praying that John and Edward don't win but there are reports they might be in the lead," Simon goes on. "You have to live with the public vote. If they win it would be a complete disaster. I would get on a plane and leave the country then sulk for about six months and Louis will be in serious trouble. It is a singing contest and they can't really win. They are not the act we are looking for when we started."
We don't need another Leona or Alexandra though - we want evil twins! We want stupid talky bits! We want inflatables! Yes, we are toddlers. We like it that way.
Simon also says he was generally disappointed with last weekend's show. "We have got to raise the game now and explain it is a singing competition," he says. "I thought Saturday's show and song choices were not as good as I expected and we have to dig a bit deeper."
Simon has also spoken out on the controversial subject of Danyl. "From day one when the three of them said he was cocky or overconfident, I think it sticks," he says. "Danyl is trying to be an entertainer and put on a show. He is not cocky, he is not confident. He just wants a break. I don't want them to all just stand there and do nothing. Like Stacey has been stood there for three weeks, she is like a singing candle."
Knowing Stacey, she'd take that as a compliment. "A singing candle! I 'ad one ov dem on me birfday cake once innit! Yeah!"
