Paris says her "heart is broken" over sudden death of Hollywood heiress

There were an awful lot of shocking celebrity deaths in 2009, and it seems as if the tragedy has continued in the New Year - a Hollywood socialite who grew up with Paris Hilton has died at the age of just 30.

Johnson & Johnson heiress Casey Johnson, who was engaged to Tila Tequila - one of those US reality stars you'll have heard of if you spend a lot of time on dodgy gossip sites - was found dead yesterday, reportedly due to natural causes. And now Paris Hilton has taken to Twitter to express her grief - something she's had to do with shocking frequency over the past year.

"I feel so sad right now, my heart is in pain," she wrote earlier today. "Just lost a longtime friend. My heart goes out to her family. R.I.P. Casey Johnson Love you :( In bed crying, looking at baby pictures of Casey, Nicky and I. I feel so upset. I feel like I've lost a sister. My heart is broken. Miss her. God has another Angel by his side. Casey, we all Love and Miss you and know that you are in a better place. R.I.P."
