Kate Moss gives presents to sick kids. Any particular reason?

First of all, we're not in any way criticising Kate Moss for giving lots of presents to the children of Great Ormond Street Hospital. Whichever way you look at it, you know that her gifts (which happen to be from BHS... which is owned by, ooh, Topshop boss Philip Green. As they'd say in Muriel's Wedding, what a coincidence) will be much appreciated.
However, we're going to go out on a not-as-thin-as-Kate's limb here, and say that the timing of her spontaneous charitable gesture is a little convenient. She's spent the past week being slagged off all over the place (including right here) for her ludicrous "nothing tastes as good as skinny feels" comment. So now are we meant to forget all that and instead believe that Kate lives by an altogether different mantra: "Nothing tastes as good as selfless acts of charity to people less fortunate than myself"?
You'll notice that Kate didn't actually take the stuff to the hospital herself. But then, presumably not eating food makes it tricky to do much in the way of heavy lifting.
