We generally pass it off as bollocks when girlbands claim they are “close” – but it sounds like Cheryl and Kimberley actually are veeery close.

To a point where one wants the other to bear a child that they can share, thus avoiding the whole pregnancy debacle.

Yes, this actually came out of Kimberley’s gob. Speaking about when Girls Aloud will get preggers, she said: “Realistically, it’s between me and Cheryl. She and I kind of push each other to go first because we’d love to have a baby around.

“I say, ‘Why don’t you have one and I’ll just look after it?’ and Cheryl says, ‘No, why don’t you?’”

Christ ladies, it’s not a cat.

She continued: “I think I’ve got the edge because she’s already married, so I can use that in my favour. But then she starts with the old ticking clock argument because I’m a couple of years older than her.”

Ticking clock argument? Kimberley’s only 28! And if they are going to argue, shouldn’t it be about hair extensions or something – not who has to bring a human life into the world?

Sorry, we’re getting too moral, someone fetch us a naked man to phwoar over.
