By our calculations, Jennifer Lopez turned 80 this weekend...

We did the math(s) and worked out that Jennifer Lopez celebrated her 80th birthday this weekend. And doesn't she look good for it? Oh hold on (*taps earpiece*), news just in, she actually turned 40, but did it twice, which is where the confusion lies.
Jen's first birthday bash took place on Friday night with her family, and we won't share the deets as it all sounds a bit dull, but things were a little more lavish on Saturday.
A number of moderately famous people, including Madonna, Rihanna and Beyonce (no surnames allowed here - must have made the guestlist very confusing. "Madonna Hargreaves or Madonna Williamson? No, sorry love, your name's not down, if you could just step aside..."), descended on New York for a right proper knees-up organised by Jennifer's ever-grateful husband Marc Anthony. Oh, and Ricky Martin was there too - as a guest, not as a waiter or cloakroom attendant. Amazing.
Unfortunately, the evening didn't go without a hitch - J-Lo, if we're still calling her that, apparently threw a big old strop (at her age? Impressive) when several guests rocked up late. "Jennifer's party was very intimate, and there were a noticeable amount of empty seats when the dinner started," says someone who she's probably regretting inviting. "Jennifer was really irritated. She was fuming because people were late, and complained about it really loudly to Marc. Jennifer was visibly upset and embarrassed. Being late is the height of rudeness, and guests were still arriving at midnight." We thought throwing diva strops was the height of rudeness, but whatevs.
Still, we wouldn't be surprised if the guests in question were deliberately late since it sounds like the worst party in the world. Marc himself crooned a special Spanish song (we like to think it was Geri Halliwell's pop smash Mi Chico Latino), causing his wife to "continually burst into tears of happiness" (we'd've cried too, but for different reasons), while some fella called Swiss Beatz did a special rap. This is our favourite quote from the night though - apparently Jennifer's manager Benny Medina "had to change his shirt because he worked up such a sweat on the dancefloor." Eww. EWW. EWWWWWWW. We can't decide if we're crushingly disappointed or secretly pleased that one of the most glamorous ladies in all of the world had a birthday party that sounds like a bad wedding reception.
